Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Stevia
Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Stevia is an all-natural, calorie-free sweetener that offers an alternative to highly processed, artificial sweeteners, which are derived from chemical processes. For those managing calories and blood sugar levels, Organic Stevia is perfect for sweetening hot and cold beverages, can be used as a sugar-substitute in many recipes, and is great at the breakfast table for sprinkling over cereals, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt and more.
What is Organic Stevia?Organic Stevia comes from an organic stevia plant leaf sustainably grown without the use of harmful pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Unlike conventional Stevia, Wholesome Sweeteners' Organic Stevia is holistically extracted from the plant through an enzymatic process giving it a smooth, mellow sweetness. This patented, full-spectrum organic extraction process eliminates the bitterness from stevia found in other brands. It also retains the micro-nutrient properties often removed in conventional processing. To maintain this smooth, mellow taste, Wholesome Sweeteners blends organic stevia with organic blue agave inulin, a natural prebiotic that can aid in digestion.
Organic Stevia is: Calorie Free and Low Glycemic Gluten-Free Vegan Non-GMO Verified Kosher
How Do I Use Organic Stevia?
Since Stevia is so sweet, a little goes a long way. One packet of Organic Stevia sweetens like 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Non-GMO verified: The ingredients used in Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Stevia come from plants that have never been genetically modified. Genetically modified foods are banned in many European countries for lack of scientific study, and their serious potential to alter natural ecosystems and damage the environment.
About Wholesome SweetenersWholesome Sweeteners is the nations leader in Fair Trade Certified, USDA Organic, Non-GMO Verified, and sustainably produced sugars, syrups, and honeys, all made from natures best resources. In addition to bringing the best organic, sustainable and unrefined sweeteners to the North American market, Wholesome pioneered the certification process for Fair Trade Certified sugar and honey.
Since pioneering Far Trade in 2005, Wholesome Sweeteners has paid more than $7.5 million in social premiums to benefit our Fair Trade partners, and farming & beekeeping cooperatives in the developing world.
